10th Annual Little Tim's Fishing Derby

The 10th Annual Little Tim’s Fishing Derby returns to Worthley Pond in Peru, Maine on Saturday, March 7, 2026, marking a decade of ice fishing, family fun, and community tradition. Known officially as the Timothy M. Holland Memorial Ice Fishing Derby, this beloved winter event honors Little Tim’s love of the outdoors while bringing anglers of all ages together for a day on the ice.

Participants can enjoy a full day of ice fishing with prizes awarded in multiple age categories, along with raffles, giveaways, and food available on site. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or dropping a line for the very first time, the derby is designed to be welcoming, family-friendly, and fun for everyone. Weigh-ins will take place at The Farm at Worthley Pond on Dalot Road.

More than just a competition, Little Tim’s Fishing Derby has become a cherished community event, a place where memories are made, kids land their first fish, and friends gather to celebrate Maine’s outdoor heritage. Join us as we celebrate 10 incredible years of fishing, friendship, and honoring a legacy that continues to bring people together on the ice.
