
It’s that time of year again, the time to recognize the “best of the best” in the Oxford Hills. The Chamber is soliciting nominations and applications for the following Business and Community Award Categories and the deadline for submissions is Friday, August 31, 2023:
BUSINESS OF THE YEAR
Criteria for the award includes excellence in one or more of the following areas: dynamic products or services, contributions to the Oxford Hills region and community, market share, noteworthy industry achievements, and dedication to the well-being of its employees and associates. Our first-ever Award winner was Western Maine Health!
Eligibility: Oxford Hills Chamber members only
EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR
This distinction is awarded to an individual who displays outstanding work ethic, a cooperative nature among fellow employees, and contributes to the success of the company for which they are working. Our first-ever Award winner was the late Ken Swan.
Eligibility: Oxford Hills Chamber members only
RISING STAR OF THE YEAR
This distinction is awarded to a business owner or individual who is “up and coming” and is positively contributing to make the Oxford Hills an exciting and dynamic place to live and work. Our first-ever Award winner was Amanda Houtari of The Celebration Barn.
Eligibility: Oxford Hills Chamber members only
SUZANNE GROVER COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD
The distinction is awarded to an individual who has provided outstanding community service on a volunteer basis to the Oxford Hills over an extended period of time. Our first-ever award winner was the iconic Josephine Stone of Barjo’s Restaurant.
Eligibility: Any resident of the Oxford Hills
